The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are returning to Cleveland as the headline attraction for the 2026 Cleveland National Air Show at Burke Lakefront Airport.
The three-day event is scheduled for September 5, 6 and 7. Gates open at 9 a.m. each day, with flying scheduled from approximately 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The Blue Angels will perform each day in F/A-18 Super Hornets. Their demonstration combines the four-aircraft Diamond Formation with high-speed maneuvers by two solo pilots before all six jets join in the Delta Formation.
Three Days of Flying at Burke Lakefront Airport
The 2026 show includes a broad lineup of military and civilian aviation performances.
Scheduled acts include the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team, an Air Force F-22 Raptor demonstration, C-17 Globemaster, KC-135 Stratotanker and KC-46 Pegasus aircraft, along with a U.S. Coast Guard search-and-rescue demonstration.
Historic aircraft and civilian aerobatic performers are also scheduled throughout the weekend.
The air show says its flying schedule can change because of weather, safety considerations or temporary flight restrictions connected to other major downtown sporting events.
Blue Angels Headline the Daily Schedule
General admission tickets are sold in advance online and are specific to the selected show day. The event says there are no general admission ticket sales at the gate. On-site parking also must be purchased in advance.
The Cleveland National Air Show is a longstanding Labor Day weekend tradition and brings one of Northeast Ohio’s largest annual crowds to the downtown lakefront.
