The Cleveland Cavaliers are moving their local game broadcasts to DAZN beginning with the 2026-27 NBA season under a new multi-year partnership.
DAZN will stream Cavaliers regular-season games that are not selected for exclusive national broadcasts. The service will also carry preseason games and team-produced programming.
The Cavaliers will move production of the broadcasts in-house through Rock Entertainment Sports Network. The production plan calls for 19 cameras and additional technology, including data-driven graphics, alternative feeds, multi-view options and other interactive features.
The familiar Cavaliers broadcast team will remain. John Michael will continue handling play-by-play, with Brad Daugherty as analyst, Serena Winters reporting and Cayleigh Griffin hosting pregame and postgame coverage.
The agreement also includes 15 Cavaliers games that will be available free during the season. Details about those games and the simulcast schedule are expected separately.
DAZN announced several subscription options for Cavaliers coverage. A standard monthly plan is listed at $19.99, while an Ultimate monthly option is $24.99. Season plans are listed at $119.99 and $139.99, depending on features.
Full-season and half-season Cavs United and Foundation members will receive complimentary access under the agreement.
The higher-tier packages include additional simultaneous streams, multi-view capabilities, alternate camera angles and feeds. Standard packages include access on supported devices and downloads.
The service will be available across smart televisions, mobile devices, web browsers, game consoles and supported streaming platforms.
Rock Entertainment Sports Network and DAZN will serve as the primary distribution system for Cavaliers games and related programming.
The partnership represents a significant change in how Greater Cleveland viewers receive local Cavaliers broadcasts, shifting the team’s direct-to-consumer coverage to a streaming-first platform while maintaining the existing on-air announcing team.
