Tame Impala and JENNIE continue to prove that an unexpected collaboration can become a major mainstream hit.
Their crossover smash “Dracula” climbs to No. 8 on the CLE Radio Power 40 for the week of August 8, 2026, moving up one position from No. 9 last week.
The song earns 174 Power 40 points this week, fueled by exceptionally strong radio airplay.
“Dracula” currently ranks No. 2 on Billboard Radio Songs and No. 26 on Streaming Songs, according to the Billboard charts used to calculate this week’s Power 40.
That means the record is not new to the chart. It is an established hit that is still moving upward.
“Dracula” Moves Up to No. 8
Here is the song’s CLE Radio Power 40 performance this week:
This week: No. 8
Last week: No. 9
Movement: ▲ 1
Power 40 points: 174
Billboard Radio Songs: No. 2
Billboard Streaming Songs: No. 26
The numbers show where the song’s greatest strength currently lies.
Radio is driving “Dracula.”
A No. 2 Radio Songs position is remarkable for a track that began life within Tame Impala’s psychedelic and electronic world. Its streaming performance remains strong enough to complement that massive airplay audience and keep the song inside the Power 40 Top 10.
“Dracula” Became Bigger After JENNIE Joined the Song
“Dracula” has taken an unusual route to the top.
The original version was released by Tame Impala in October 2025. A new version featuring JENNIE of BLACKPINK arrived in February 2026.
That collaboration dramatically expanded the song’s audience.
Short-form video helped propel the remix, and by May it had climbed into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10. Yonhap reported that the song reached No. 10 with 12.1 million weekly streams and 23.1 million radio audience impressions during that stage of its rise.
It kept climbing.
By July, “Dracula” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, becoming the first Pop Airplay No. 1 for both JENNIE and Tame Impala. During the same period, it reached a then-new No. 8 peak on the Hot 100 and continued leading Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts.
That progression helps explain why “Dracula” remains so powerful on the CLE Radio Power 40.
This wasn’t a one-week viral hit. Radio gradually transformed it into a major crossover record.
An Unlikely Combination That Worked
On paper, Tame Impala and JENNIE might seem like artists from completely different musical worlds.
Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project led by Australian musician and producer Kevin Parker. Parker has built his reputation through atmospheric production, psychedelic pop, rock and electronic music.
JENNIE brings an entirely different audience.
As a member of BLACKPINK, she is part of one of the world’s most recognizable K-pop groups. Her solo career has also grown considerably, allowing her to move between pop, hip-hop, dance music and collaborations outside the traditional K-pop market.
“Dracula” brought those audiences together.
The result became significant for both artists. When the song initially entered the Hot 100 Top 10, it represented Tame Impala’s first Top 10 hit and JENNIE’s first as a solo artist.
For JENNIE, the achievement also made her the second BLACKPINK member to score a solo Hot 100 Top 10, following ROSÉ.
JENNIE Has Been Breaking New Ground in 2026
“Dracula” is only part of JENNIE’s increasingly large presence in American music.
Earlier this summer, she headlined New York’s Governors Ball, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to headline the festival. Her performance included new material and remixes and further demonstrated her ability to operate as a major solo attraction outside BLACKPINK.
The success of “Dracula” has strengthened that crossover.
Instead of depending solely on the enormous BLACKPINK fan base, JENNIE has gained exposure through alternative, electronic and mainstream pop radio audiences that might not normally encounter her music.
Tame Impala Is Taking the Music on Tour
Kevin Parker is also in the middle of a major year.
Tame Impala is touring North America in support of the 2025 album Deadbeat, the album that originally introduced “Dracula.”
The North American tour runs through the summer and into September, with arena dates across the United States and Canada. Djo and Dominic Fike are supporting different portions of the tour.
The album era has already produced another major accomplishment for Parker. “End of Summer,” another Deadbeat track, won the 2026 Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
Now “Dracula” has given Tame Impala something different: an enormous mainstream radio hit.
“Dracula” Has Become One of Summer 2026’s Defining Songs
The song’s staying power is increasingly difficult to ignore.
The Associated Press recently included the JENNIE remix of “Dracula” among its contenders for 2026’s song of the summer, highlighting the record’s viral appeal alongside hits from Ella Langley, Drake, Bruno Mars, Olivia Rodrigo and others.
That description fits what we are seeing on the Power 40.
“Dracula” isn’t surviving because of one metric.
It has experienced viral momentum, streaming success, international attention and—most importantly right now—massive radio support.
Its current No. 26 streaming position is well below its No. 2 radio ranking, but that radio dominance gives the song considerable staying power.
Could “Dracula” Go Even Higher?
Absolutely.
Moving from No. 9 to No. 8 might appear modest, but the underlying numbers make “Dracula” a serious threat to songs above it.
The key is streaming.
If “Dracula” maintains its extraordinary radio performance while improving from No. 26 on Streaming Songs, it could make a much larger jump on the CLE Radio Power 40.
For now, Kevin Parker and JENNIE have another week moving in the right direction.
An experimental Tame Impala song that received new life through a collaboration with one of K-pop’s biggest stars has evolved into one of America’s biggest radio records.
And this week, it moves another step closer to the top.
